 After a week off to catch their breath after a hectic start to the Wimmera hockey season, the teams will gather at Davis Park in Nhill for round four, which includes several highly anticipated matchups.  The cream of the underage hockey players from across regional Victoria gathered in Melbourne this weekend to participate in the Junior Country Championships.  Earlier this week the Transport Accident Commission launched a new hard-hitting road safety campaign highlighting the risks of driving while tired, with new research revealing that driving after less than five hours of sleep leaves us four times more likely to crash.  The short-term forecast does not include much rain, but there are other hints that winter is on its way. A frost warning is in effect for the Wimmera for tomorrow morning.  After a hectic start to the Wimmera Hockey Association season that has already thrown up some unexpected results, the competition takes a breather this weekend while the Victoria Junior Country Championships are held in Melbourne.  The Hindmarsh Shire Council is seeking public feedback following its decision to sell the Gerang Hall.  A hint of winter greeted the Wimmera’s hockey players at Dimboola on the weekend when round three threw up some intriguing results.
